• 2001
  Founded

  On April 1st 2001 P+ Steel Supplies was founded by Niels Verstraten and Mari van Hout as part of the P+ group.

  

  They were located on the Koperslagerstraat in Uden, with a warehouse space of 100 m² of which only an attic was available for P+ Steel Supplies.

  Frits is hired as driver.

• 2005
  Moving to Brouwerstraat

  In December of 2005 the P+ group moved to a new office and warehouse located on Brouwerstraat in Uden.

  

  For P+ Steel Supplies this meant a significant improvement of the warehouse, which increased to a space of ​​approximately 500 m².

  
• 2008
  Ton van Hout starts as new employee and Frits retires

  In 2008, son Ton joins the company. He takes over from Frits and thus learns everything first-hand.

  Ton mainly works in the warehouse and delivers all the materials to the customers.

  

  In 2008 we say goodbye to Frits as an employee of P+. He then retires.

  
• 2009
  New forklift

  In 2009 a good investment was made with the arrival of a new Mabo forklift.

  
• 2010
  First internal move

  In 2010, Kanto moved out of the building and P+ Steel Supplies moved to that part of the building on Brouwerstraat.

  With this move also a new indoor office is created.

  
• 2011
  First use of own computer system

  Arno is releasing his first version of his computer system used by P+ Steel Supplies this year.

  This system is fully designed according to the wishes of Mari and Ton.

• 2014
  Ton van Boxtel starts as new employee

  In 2014, Ton van Boxtel was hired as driver.

  Ton brings all the materials to you with a huge smile.

  
• 2015
  Second internal move

  Due to steady growth, more warehouse space is needed.

  In 2015 the warehouse space will be doubled to 1,000 m².

  
• 2016 - 2017
  Arno van Hout starts as new employee

  In 2016, son Arno also decided to join the family business.

  

  Arno takes care of the automation of the company, the computer system and later also the website, are his creations.

  
• 2018
  Edwin Barten starts as new employee

  In 2018 Edwin Barten starts as new employee at P+ Steel Supplies.

  Edwin quickly becomes a very valuable asset within the company.

  Edwin is especially strong in the warehouse.

• 2021
  Takeover of Van Zomeren Buizen

  In 2021, P+ Steel Supplies took over the company Van Zomeren Buizen from Eugenie.

  
• 2024
  Transfer ownership from Mari to his sons

  In 2024, after 23 years of steady growth of the company, Mari will hand over the reins completely to his sons Ton and Arno.

  Together with Jos and Niels, a good foundation is laid for the future of the entire P+ group:

• 2024
  Iggy Bijnen and Wim van Langen start as new employees

  P+ Steel Supplies will be further strengthened by Iggy and Wim in 2024.
